"We had an exceptional "birthday stay," after enjoying a day and evening in Deventer. Everything was super great: Reception personnel, the room, the bed, the shower with wonderful-smelling bath gel, the view. Parking was easy, close, lots of available spaces. It made it seamless to buy ferry tickets at the hotel. The ferry to the city center was less than a 5 minute walk. We didn't have dinner at the hotel, but breakfast options were extensive, high quality and satisfying, including the coffee...

"​I ran across this hotel while randomly exploring throughout the Netherlands, and it was a wonderful find. The property is incredibly clean and comfortable. A huge highlight was the front desk service—I wish I had caught the name of the young woman working there, as she was unbelievably nice had worked there since she was 15 and gave the most helpful local recommendations for sightseeing. ​The restaurant on-site was excellent, and the morning buffet breakfast was outstanding. "This is an absolute GEM. We loved every part of the stay. The unique house type for a family is a very interesting design concept but was very efficient.
