Very clean, great for families and good food.

Great hostel, very clean. We had dinner and breakfast and both were good quality. This is a great place for kids, with a games room and outdoor play area. Pur room was spacious with comfortable bunks. Everything was spotlessly clean.

This is an absolute GEM. We loved every part of the stay. The unique house type for a family is a very interesting design concept but was very efficient. It wasn’t the biggest room for the 3 men, but we made the most of it by sharing the space peacefully. Everything was about saving the earth which I also love taking part in. Eco-friendly place made our hearts warm throughout the 7 days of stay. I really appreciate the kindness by everyone at the reception and the hotel too. Thanks for everything during the week of our stay! Definitely coming back here when I am back in Zutphen!

Nice stay in rural setting.

We stayed in the wikkelhouse. It was situated in the trees with a view of a field of cows. The trees could be cut a little further down yo give more view. We liked the house, but we lacked a place to put our suitcases. They couln't fit under the bed and the space was limited, so we often had to move them. Our children slept in a bunk bed, and while there was a safety railing on the top one, there was nothing on the buttom one, which was open until both sides. We liked that there was a little kitchen and a dining table and even a little terasse with chairs. Our children like the playground and played football on the lawn. The breakfast was nice, but on day two when we were leaving, it wadn't ready at 8 o'clock when they opened. The man in charge seemed unorganised and first arrived with the bread 15 minutes later. He forgot to put out several food items, which we then had to ask for.

Schoonmaak huisje

Huisje wat qe hadden was prima voor een nachtje. Alleen hadden we heel veel spinnenwebben met spinnen erin, zo ook boven je slaap plek, dit is niet fijn als je niet van spinnen houd.

Voor ons weekendje racefietsen hebben wij in dit Stayokay hostel een prima verblijf gevonden. Kamer, sfeer en eten waren wat ons betreft prima en tegen een redelijke prijs. Vooral de rust op de locatie beviel ons wel. Verder was het weer top, dus dat maakte ons fietsweekend helemaal geslaagd.

Twee nachten met vriendinnen geslapen in een vierpersoonskamer. Kamers met twee stapelbedden van alle gemakken voorzien. Netjes en schoon. Ook twee avonden gegeten. Prima! Gezellige bar.

Ons avontuurtje

We waren plezierig verrast. Fijn Om de toilet gescheiden van de douche te hebben. Bedjes wat aan de smalle kant. Wij vonden het gevoel om na 50/60 jaar weer terug in een jeugdherberg te zijn. Mooi landelijk gelegen.

Övernattning som lockar till fler, längre besök

Vi skulle bara övernatta med två barn efter en hel dags bilresa. Det visade sig vara så trevlig atmosfär att vi blev nyfikna på att stanna längre, men det får vänta till nästa resa till Nederländerna.

Relaxed & friendly in beautiful countryside

Quiet and remote in the middle of the Dutch countryside. Beautiful surroundings yet easy access to the motorway and the town of Deventer. Friendly & chatty staff offering relaxed and fab service. Room was clean & food was good. Large playground for children and great walks for dogs.
