Great location for a quite stay . No shops , no fuss. We had the pool to ourselves each day . Food is great , service outstanding . Nothing is to much trouble.
Staffs are super helpful. Staffs fulfilled my requests and needs. Delux room with pool at ocean front is so special and uniques that no other hotel in Phuket can offer.
The view is amazing. Waking you to the sunrise was one of the best experiences at the resort. Very clean. Room was very spacious. Room was cleaned every day.
In terms of calmness and hassle this is a chill place away from the hustle and bustle. Use the app bolt as taxi, and getting to Patong or the old centre is cheap and affordable.
We had a great time staying here for 9 nights in January. Room is super spacious and clean. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Buffet breakfast is pretty good and have everything for all fuzzy eaters. Two big pools is great for kids and grownups alike. Location is the best of all with wide view of Adaman sea and facing sunrise. I would very much recommend if you like nice and quiet family friendly location in Phuket.

Quiet far from main areas and attractions. Property is very big and bit old type. Food taste average. Service good. Also airport is very far.
Crowne plaza has :
1. Good pools to accommodate clients
2. The breakfast is superb and head chef interacts with people and keeps client convenience at the top.
3. Staff is also very trained and greets and complete chores and with smile.

Great property- some rooms are dated now.. but overall great.
The manager Nu was excellent and accommodating in all our requests. Thanks Nu-
We had a good time overall -
Very close to the pier incase your are taking the day tours, we did a tour from “love Andaman” starting at this pier and was super good. Look for Ruby and Anna at the day tour.
I had a great stay at this hotel! The receptionist was always available and very helpful. The view is fantastic, especially with the pool and beach right in front of the hotel. The only small issue was the spa availability – I had an amazing session and wanted more, but couldn’t book additional appointments. It would be great if the pool and spa hours could be extended from 8 AM to 10 PM instead of the current 8 AM to 8 PM. Also I wanted a villa with the beach view if I had been explained the charges of upgrading my room I would have done it.
Secluded, away from the rif-raff of the touristy areas, a quaint high-end hotel. The hotel has probably seen it's best days, but still carries the remnants of that aristocratic hygiene, the beauty, personal service, open and unused spaces... not built with $/sq-ft in mind.. Wife and I (in our late 40s) were looking for a get-away from the silicon-valley rat race, to-- not work, not care for vacation activities, ... just be in serene surroundings, eat local food, do long walks and hikes, listen to music with a glass of wine in our ocean-front balcony... This place was it...

Great but needs to improve.
Lovely hotel and the current staff are very courteous. But the hotel is understaffed. Felt a bit dead, and no liveliness in the place.
It has great potential and scope for improvement.
The amenities are old. Needs upgrading. The towels were old, needs to be changed.
Phuket Panwa is a great hotel in a quiet and scenic location.
A stretch to call it 5-stars, but it would certainly make a great 4-star hotel. The rooms were dated, but very comfortable. When you have sea facing rooms, just know there's high & low tides. When it's high tide, the view is scenic and serene, takes your mind away from reality.
The breakfast buffet has a great selection of your usual international and local fares.
The small private beach could certainly do with some garbage pick ups, but it could also be a case of hotel guests that don't pick up after themselves.
We enjoyed ourselves very much during the 3 nights there and would certainly stay at the resort again as it's only 15-20 mins away from Phuket Old Town by taxi.
The room had a funky smell when we arrived but the cleaner the next day left the air conditioner on all daywhile we were out, and the room smelled much better.
The bathroom was dated, needed sink and shower upgrade. The shower stall was always flooded after a shower. Bed was kibg and very comfortable. The breakfast was Excellent! with many varieties of food, and cuppacinos! You had to taxi to town, to far to walk, which i think was only the downside for us. And the beach was muddy , you can't swim there
We wanted to start our time in Phuket away from the hustle and bustle and to simply relax and unwind…and this was the perfect place for it. The beach is pretty much private to this hotel and the large pools on offer were clean, large in size and had plenty of deck chairs and shade umbrellas. The buffet breakfast was large and extremely varied in what was offered. The views from our room across the bay and the sunrises were fantastic. Local eateries are not in abundance but the hiring of scooters enables this to happen. The staff were always friendly and ever-helpful. The quality of the service of the rooms varied from day to day which was a little surprising - we had to ask for more towels each day.
Overall, a lovely area, and well recommended.
The only thing I liked was the staff. The hotel was old, far from everything, ugly neighborhood, old, depressing, needs a lot of renovations and painting. Looks mot taken care of. I just left the second night. The beach side is an ugly swamp. I decided to loose the money of three more nights and move to another hotel. It was the best decision ever. J W Marriot Phuket Resort & Spa. 10 stars out of 5 at $165 per night. Early checkout from the Phuket Pawna was the best money I ever lost!!!!!!!!

The pool access room was pretty nice expect it does not explain on Expedia that it is a two story loft and the food selection is pretty limited. They have the design and makings of a five star resort but fall short. We were overcharged and received an email promising our refund over one month ago and still have not received it. The staff were polite and the area is quiet. It is quite a distance from Phuket town where all the shops, restaurants etc are located. It could have been better and we are still waiting on the refund promised.
Good: nice room, comfy bed, big space, nice little couch, great pool. Dinner was lovely and not over expensive. Great to be in an area of Phuket that was quiet. Friendly attentive staff.
Area: had to walk quite far for an atm. They should have one in the lobby. The spa and restaurant across the street are very nice. The ladies have a great massage that wasn't too expensive and I had dinner and takeout at Sam's 3 times. Delicious. 7-11 handy. The woman outside to the right did all my laundry for 80 Baht a kg and it was folded and nice and clean.
Not so good: I think the resort is still trying to recover from the pandemic. One restaurant open and one pool. I couldn't even see a pool number two. My bath tub taps weren't working and when my room got humid there were handprints and other stuff all over the outside glass. Someone came and cleaned it all promptly. Crowne plaza should definitely be using glass water bottles in the room like the other hotels in Phuket and no need for the little shampoo etc bottles now, it should all be in refill shower bottles.
Overall a lovely stay and I would recommend if you'd like to be in a quiet area of Phuket.

Isolated relaxed with limited & pricy food options
Most of the staff were super nice and helpful. Never any troubles. Breakfast table was great. Rooms very big and clean, even though they might not be up to the same 5 star class as in Europe or America, it was acceptable for the price.
The worst case was that we "were sold" on the fact that the hotel was advertised to offer 2 restaurant options, because of the fact that there's only one mediocre restaurant close (Sam's) we thought it was important. The restaurants are essentially the same kitchen with the same menu... False advertisement. In addition to that, restaurant menu is super expensive and not really up to par in quality compared to the local high rated restaurants that are 30-50% of the price. For example we paid 5 dollars for a glass of concentrated apple juice at the bar!
Cocktails were good though!
We brought a 15 months old and a 4 year old. They had a blast, enjoying the kids playroom each day, eating of the kids menu, and swimming in the main pool. The kids pool was far from the bar and facilities, and didn't have any benches close to the pool so we ended up spending all days by the main pool.
All in all, a fine experience, bit bummed out by the location needing a taxi to get everywhere, specially when you have young kids and you want to use the stroller for them to sleep in. And the price of the restaurant, and lack of variety was a killer. It's still a very safe place to stay with kids, if you are looking to relax in the same location for a while.
For me, this hotel was a major disappointment for the following reasons:
1) Advertised as a 5-star hotel in various booking platforms, but unfortunately, it does not meet 5-star standards.
2) The overall level of service is very low. The staff is friendly but highly unprofessional. The reception is mostly staffed by very young girls who likely lack experience working in a reputable hotel.
3) The entire interior design and technology of the hotel are very old and do not function properly. The furniture in the room is worn out and dirty.
4) There are no mattress covers in the hotel to make the bed softer and more comfortable.
5) I stayed in a duplex suite (with pool access). In this room, the curtains can be moved by a button, but unfortunately, it did not work. To use the curtains, they had to be disconnected from the motor.
6) For the first three days, there was no internet in my room. I reported it immediately, but unfortunately, it could not be fixed in the first two days. Every day, some men came to deal with the issue, and on the third day, they managed to get the wifi network working. The internet connection throughout the hotel is very poor, highly unstable, and has low speed (up to 9 Mbps).
7) The bathroom drainage primarily emitted a very bad odor at night.
8) The pool water in rooms with pool access was slightly dirty. Chlorine was manually thrown into the pool in the evening – it does not leave a reliable impression.
9) Service in the restaurant during breakfast wa
