"Wake up call at 5:30am the first day was the hotel operator yelling and berating a guest for accessing the open (not a closed room) breakfast area. (We were on a different floor.) Breakfast area had no prepared hot food at all. Dry cereal, had to ask for milk, waffle machine, and white bread for toast. My young gdau visited and we went to the pool area. Hotel operator arrived about 5 minutes later and taped a notice to the door there would be a $50 fine assessed to the room if visitors were...

"Booked property specifically as a pay at check in which is very common for us when we travel. They charged my card the night before which was not the one I was planning to use. When we arrived, attendant was rude and said we'll its a holiday weekend so they run all the cards ahead of time. My thought...hmmm false advertising...then... Got to property to check in and it was 20 minutes before 3pm. We were told there is an early check in fee of $35... so we left and came back at 3 to a long line...

"Room 111 smelled so terrible we tried to air it out by leaving the door open and blasting the AC . Didn’t help at all. We checked in so late and being on the road all day we didn’t want to try and argue about the room or go look for another place to stay. We just made do for the remaining early morning by sleeping. Mention to the guy at the desk the problems and left it at that."

"Traffic noise is absolutely horrible and the pool lights are shining directly into the room. We asked if there was a different room but was told, "no"; so much for paying for a suite. Plus a trash bag of garbage had been sitting out for 24 hours from an adjoining room and housekeeping did nothing. Not was I am used to with a Marriott Hotel, this was totally below standards."
