  • This is one of my favorite hiking trails! It consists of 3 big waterfalls as you ascend to the top. Be cautious though you need real hiking boots to hike the trail. It’s extremely slippery because of the waterfalls and we went on a day where it rained so it was even worse. Most people make their way up the side of the waterfalls, which involves a lot of climbing on rocks and using your hands. It gets very crowded so we went up the "flatter" trail most people use to go down, which made for a really good work out, and started from the top waterfall and made our way down. This is not a kid friendly place. The trail is dangerous and difficult. There were warning signs everywhere saying to wear the correct shoes and that people have died here, but there were so many people there with their small children who were having lots of trouble climbing and so many people with flip flops. Also no one here had any hiking etiquette about letting others pass. Regardless, this is one of my favorite trails.

Check in was quick & easy. The woman at the counter was very polite & nice. The room is good for the value. It’s clean. Overall a bit dated but worth the price. The pillows & bed are comfy. The bed is low to the ground & a little hard. We came for the NASCAR race. The track is just a few minutes away, which is convenient. I would stay here again.

Quick Ski Getaway

Super close to Jack Frost & Big Boulder ski resorts and you can’t beat the price. Nothing fancy but it is clean, comfortable bed to rest for night between ski runs.

Checked in at 4p, and the room we were given had not been serviced. Went back to desk, and was given another room right away. Other than the tv remote not working, the room was very clean. The staff was nice and, it did seem like part of the hotel was being renovated. Pros: AC is ice cold, and the refrigerator kept drinks super cold as well.

Nice room. Clean. NO DESK. The exterior of the motel is shabby but the interior room was nice. The office was locked and you have to pick up a phone on the porch of the office and call for the inn keeper to check in.

Went to the poconos for a firework demo event. I knew i wouldnt be in the room much so i looked for a good price and good location to what i was doing. This room fit exactly what i needed. It was basic but clean with a much better price than other places in the area. If your looking for a place to sleep and get a shower this is a good place. Management was freindly and room was quiet.

It is what it is.

Even thought I was on the 1st floor I still had steps to go up. My TV didn’t work, the wifi barely worked. Only a little more than 2 miles to Wawa and a few fast food places near the turnpike exit. Room and bathroom seemed very clean.

This is an old place that needs a lot of work. The outside needs to be painted. I was worried at first about what the room was going to look like. The owner showed me, it was clean, laminate floors. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were great quality. It is a good place to sleep for one night when traveling. The coffee maker did not work, I called the front desk and the owner brought us another one right away. This is a no frills place.

It was ok.

Check in was wonderful. The lady was so nice. The room was nice. Bathroom small, but ok. Shower was so small in this room. I was here a month or so before and I don't remember the shower being so small, unless they are different sizes in different rooms. The bed was ok, but every time you move it makes noise. I woke up in the morning with a sore back. I wish they would give more pillows. There were only two pillows in the queen sized bed room. I was also bummed that there was no hair dryer.
