Hotel Mewah di Whitby

"The hotel is gorgeous! Our room was perfect, lots of space and mostly very clean. The only bit that wasn’t was the balcony so when we stepped onto that, as it was a beautiful Easter weekend we then put the dirt onto the carpet. "The property was beautiful, the staff was amazing and the fact that the cafe attached was both delicious and had outdoor seating was absolutely incredible… The only downside to our stay is that there was a huge youth field trip. The kids were probably about 10-13 years old and were terribly loud, running up and down the stairs, screaming and yelling in the hallways and the teachers didn’t do anything about it. "The parking is limited for the guest house but it's like this for most of them, if you do get a spot the guest house do give you a free parking permit, it was full on our visit so we had to park in the leisure center up the road cost £13 for 24 hours, the room was was clean as was the bathroom with power shower, tea and a kettle provided, an hairdryer, WiFi was a little unpredictable, and we had no natural light or view as it was overlooking another guest house that was so close it blocked out...

"Absolutely lovely stay at this property. We were only there for 1 night but can't reccommend enough. Tea, coffee and biscuits were left in the kitchen for us. TV in the living room was smart TV and there was a TV in both bedrooms. Beds were a tiny bit springy but still comfortable. Shower downstairs is a bit dated but still useable. Incredibly clean though absolutely no complaints on that front. Property manager was in touch and easy to contact. Some might be confused by the parking situation...
