"I appreciated the linens and room was fine. typical dated small resort with limited desk staff hours but a good value. the hot tubs were the kind you have at home and the pool was not heated so the pool was not used. sauna and steam room appeared unused and not inviting. location is outside the main town without direct lake access. with a car it was easy to get around so saving a few bucks here is fine. I would have dined in but the restaurant didn't seem to have much use and the prices were about $10 per item above downtown restaurants that have turnover. I didn't eat here or use the spa services which are available. "

"Check in time was not displayed when booked so missed checkin on my first night.so booked a room in another place for the first night. Far better room and amenities for half the price."

"Really nice hotel, conveniently located near Te Pua geothermal park. We all loved the room,which was perfect for a family of 4. The breakfast was really good with lots of varieties and really tasty. The special addition was the outdoors heated pool which we all loved and wish we could stay longer to enjoy."

"This was fine. Got what you paid for. Good location. Spacious log cabin. Ask for one with own en-suite. Very quiet. "

"The air conditioning wasn’t working properly. The room was quite stuffy. A maintenance person tried to fix it. It did seem to cool off a little bit after an hour or two but not very much and it remained warm (i’m always cold, so if I thought the room was warmish 95% of the population wouldn’t like it). . She finally brought up a fan. If a cool room is important to you I would avoid this hotel. "
