"The room was cosy, nicely decorated, a good size, and with a large and comfortable bed; it would have cost two or three times as much in a hotel - and that's without the generous and tasty cooked breakfast (there are other options on the menu) which - like the excellent WiFi - is included. "The view from the hotel is spectacular. Inside the room and corridors the decor is dated and shabby. The bathroom taps were grubby with grime and difficult to turn. No bottled water in the room and next to no soundproofing between rooms, especially bathrooms. The fire doors in the corridor banged when shutting. "I was attending a course in the leisure centre next door. The Aqua was an excellent, relaxed place to stay. The staff/owners were polite, friendly and generated a relaxed atmosphere. The small, well stocked bar carried on this relaxing, informal atmosphere. (The squeaky bar stools could do with fixing but were still amusing) The food is top notch and very affordable.
