"The 1872 Inn was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was very quiet. A staff member insisted on carrying my heavy bag for me down the stairs, as well as replenishing our bottled water as often as needed. The breakfast offered many choices of hot and cold food, and parking was more than ample."

"Quiet resort outside the downtown tourist chaos. Beautifully maintained rooms and property. Perfect place to relax after a long day in Yellowstone. Wonderful staff and delicious breakfast."

"Very old school motor inn type motel which we loved. Very clean room. The only drawback was the parking is pretty tight. Can't say enough about the check in clerk. Very helpful and friendly."

"room might need some updating, but overall it's pretty good. Nice front desk staff, dining room open late, which is so convenient for those who stay up late and want some drinks from the auto machine. There is also a hot tea and coffee station along the first-floor hallway; love it. Microwave in room, that is a plus. Breakfast included; somehow wish there were more to pick from. Overall, 8/10."

"Cabin style. Close to centre of town. The cabin was dark with no real views. You don’t get the sense of being in the wilderness. Appears expensive. But we we went in peak season."

"We stayed at room 22 and there's a strong unpleasant smell in the room which was disgusting - it feels like someone cooked Indian food in this room for a while and the smell doesn't leave the room. I wanna say it's not the foods problem, I wish the motel house keeping could do a better job by cleaning the smell as well. This is a motel comes with kitchen so if you do not have cooking needs I do not recommend staying here. The whole night I was struggling with the weird smell and didnt rest well....

"The room was clean and there is daily housekeeping. There are a lot of amenities- pool, hot tub, complimentary coffee, cookies and ice cream, games room and an onsite restaurant."

"Nice hotels with great amenities. Loved that they had washer and dryer for free to use. But the wait did get long during peek hours. Loved that they had a computer and printer for use. I was able to use it to print papers from our realtor. No breakfast. Parking can be kind of difficult to find. Staff was very friendly and helpful."
