"This place is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at close to a national park. Location is super close to the West Yellowstone entrance making it super convenient. The staff was great, Corey is awesome. They make you feel right at home. The breakfast was really good, probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. At night, they light up the fire and provided s’mores. They also have really good tea options. The room was super clean and modern. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here....

"1872 Inn exceeded my expectations. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all so kind and helpful. Check in was easy, and it was very nice being escorted to our room and shown were the amenities were. Breakfast each morning offered a variety of hot and cold options, and staff continually cleaned and refilled. I chose this inn while in town for the Yellowstone 1/2. It was an easy 6/7 min walk to the start line. Would choose this hotel again. "

"My husband and I enjoyed this place. Very minimal needs place- we are there for the park. Perfect place with a bed, shower, microwave, and fridge. It did get hot at times but otherwise, a wonderful stay. Walkable town and grocery store around the corner. Would stay again."

"What a lovely place to stay! Our room was clean and comfortable! If we had more time to stay this would be a wonderful base for exploring Yellowstone. The attached restaurant was amazing! Hubby and granddaughter had the buffalo burger and loved it! I had the Navajo tacos and they were so good and very filling."

"We stayed at room 22 and there's a strong unpleasant smell in the room which was disgusting - it feels like someone cooked Indian food in this room for a while and the smell doesn't leave the room. I wanna say it's not the foods problem, I wish the motel house keeping could do a better job by cleaning the smell as well. This is a motel comes with kitchen so if you do not have cooking needs I do not recommend staying here. The whole night I was struggling with the weird smell and didnt rest well....

"My friend and I stayed 5 nights while visiting Yellowstone National Park and doing a half marathon. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hot (and free!), plus they had waffle makers. There was a great burger place just across the street and the main shopping area of town is just a few blocks away. The only real downside is that there is no elevator and we were on the 2nd floor; we had a lot of luggage as we were on a two week road trip. ...
