"Our stay was perfect in every way. Communications between ourselves and our hosts ensured that we found the location quickly, despite Google Earth, street view trying to confuse us. Local facilities are limited. Lochinver is a small town, but with the help passed onto us by our hosts we were able to enjoy a memorable meal at a local cafe. "

"All went well. My only critique is we had no idea how to get into the house upon arrival, or find the specific house. We were in a foreign country and this was our first house. Having an email sent saying "When you arrive the house looks like this and here is where to find it" would have helped. Also a note saying how to get into the house (We called the owner which took a long time to figure out how to do in a foreign country) and was told house was unlocked and key was inside. "The guesthouse and the host, Brian, were great. Due to a booking error, I was able to book the accommodation even though they were closed. Brian still gave us a warm welcome and upgraded our room free of charge. He gave us tips for a good restaurant and even made a reservation for us! The breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. We would definitely recommend this hostel; it was simply fantastic!"
