"It was such a quaint room right in the heart of town, near train station and lots of walking trails."

"We had a very nice stay at the Conon Hotel. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We stayed for both dinner and breakfast, and both meals were very nice! The hotel is clean and looks well maintained. "

"Host was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. She gave us advise on where to eat out and directions on walking there. Continental breakfast was an added bonus, just a shame with room being so cosy my husband had to sit on the bed to eat his."

"Our 3-night stay at Mardon House was just perfect. James and Angela are great hosts: friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, James gave us a quick orientation to the city with a helpful photo and map in the hall. The twin room was clean and well-furnished, including the en-suite bathroom. There was plenty of variety in the breakfast offerings, including cold and cooked items, and Angela makes the BEST porridge. Mardon house is an easy 15-minute walk from the train station and well-placed to explore...

The bed mattress was lumpy and pillows completely flat. In need of an upgrade for a decent nights' sleep. The property is out of town which I hadn't fully realized. It is about 15-20 mins to town. We drove one night but parking is not easy. Area felt quite safe to walk around. Not a picturesque part of town. "

"Kirkton Bay is one of those places where, despite it being in a remote location with very little to do, I still felt like I wasn't ready to leave when the time came! This B&B is located almost right on the beach, with stunning views of the hills/mountains on the Isle Of Skye. "Staying at Gleann an Ronnaich proved one of then highlights of my extended time in Scotland. The extra special touches made such a difference - a face-washer and shaving cream in the bathroom, very comfortable room & lounge area topped off by exquisitely crafted and cooked hot breakfast. Nothing seemed too much for the hosts, and close to town (Portree) too. Highly recommended!"

"The accommodation was outstanding. Susan was very welcoming and the rooms were comfy, roomy, and well designed. Breakfast was excellent. 4 rooms and 4 tables of two set up with all the extras. Fridges in the room. The location is a short walk to Portree. Free parking provided on site. This accommodation is perfect in every way!!!! Really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend staying here if you are going to the Isle of Skye."

"Beautiful home! We truly enjoyed our short stay here while passing through Inverness. Very clean, comfortable bed, easy access to the downtown area, and our host was super helpful in directing us where to go for a late meal when we arrived later evening:) They really do make you feel right at home, and hands down best breakfast we had on our trip!
