Kid Friendly Hotels in West Kilbride

"So close to the airport that we didn’t need a taxi, which was why we chose it. We walked to it from the car rental return (of note, there’s also a Holiday Inn Express near by and we accidentally started heading in that direction). When dropping off our luggage, additional signs would be helpful as the entrance to the hotel was close to the airport parking and was confusing. Didn’t notice any noise from the airport during the hours that we were there. King bed had an uncomfortable seam but was ok if we weren’t directly on it. Would stay here again!"

"Disappointed with the food, it was ok but a bit undercooked, some items missing, and service was a bit slow. The food used to be amazing here, the ingredients still seemed high quality but the preparation and taste wasn't as good as it used to be. The main disappointment was that the rules of the spa have changed and we were unaware we had to book the spa and could only attend at certain times which wouldn't have suited anyway. So we did not get to go to the spa as planned. In previous years this place has been great, hope it gets back there!"

"We had been traveling nonstop on the Highlands and we're looking forward to getting a good night sleep at the Marriott in Glasgow. Went to bed and was woken by the loudest alarm at 6am. Got dressed and opened our doors to find other guests coming out of their rooms too. Before getting to the staircase we were told it was a false alarm and went back to our room. Had a difficult time falling back to sleep. After we woke up to depart and check out, we ask d the front desk if we could get some kind of credit or maybe a free breakfast for the inconvenience and they said it want their problem that caused the alarm. Are you kidding me?! Hospitality is crap at this place. Will never stay there again and we do not recommend anyone to stay there"

"Parking was fine as we got there before car park filled up. There are no shops nearby. Our room had only a drip of cold water coming out the tap. The bed was sagging and the kettle was rusty inside. Apart from that it was warm and clean. "

"Was surprised how big the hotel is. A bit like a maze however, lovely staff to help A bit disappointed the bar did not do cocktails but overall our stay was good. "
