"Although on arrival the rooms were clean. They allocated one room in the loft and my friend who is 4ft 10 ins banged her head twice as the ceiling was very low. They did allocate another room. Rooms were very small. We did not want them to change the sheets or bath towels but they did not do the bed properly. Everything else was acceptable. Staff in reception were helpful. Wish the food was slightly cheaper, very expensive breakfast. A full english breakfast with fruits. Juices, cereals,...

"The location was perfect for us as we were going to the theatre. (2 minute walk). Walking to town didn’t take much longer and we enjoyed looking around. "Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! "There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark."
