"The cottage was lovely, in a nice quiet and quaint area. Every little touch has been well thought out, the bedrooms are comfortable and the whole place is so relaxing, the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. "This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...

"A lovely Easter break with the family in the beautiful Dales. A superb location where our little boy (5) could run and play freely and we could enioy the gorgeous landscape. Our hosts were so welcoming and caring, and even went above and beyond when our little one wasn't feeling so well on the second night. They couldn't help us enough. Lovely breakfast, relaxed and calm atmosphere and some wonderful doggys and chickens much to our 5 year olds enjoyment! We will definitely be back!!"

"River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too. Beds are well made and comfortable and the bathrooms have everything you need from shampoo and conditioner to hand soap. Highly recommend a stay here, it’s a shame we couldn’t have stayed longer, it’s an excellent base to explore the area from."
