I had a wonderful stay at the Majestic Regency Resort! The property lives up to its name—comfortable, well-kept, and perfectly located for enjoying the coast. The rooms were clean and spacious, the amenities were convenient, and the atmosphere was welcoming throughout. A special shoutout to Aaryan for going above and beyond to make my experience memorable. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine kindness really stood out. He made sure everything was taken care of and created the kind of personal touch that makes a big difference. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend the Majestic Regency Resort to anyone visiting the area.

The mattress was on a wire spring set on boards. Every time I moved it slid off the box!The mattress was comfortable. The area was quiet! I should have requested a first floor room. There was no elevator and it wasn’t easy for a 76 year old woman to carry a suitcase up the stairs.

Front desk staff were friendly, there is plenty of parking, and when we entered the room, we thought it was cute. The room was clean, but we did notice that there was a bit of coffee left in the coffee maker that had molded. I removed the coffee bag from the top, and brought the pot to the front desk. I’m pretty sure they just washed it and gave it back to me. The rest of our stay was good. We were there for 2 nights, and overall was a decent place to stay.

I reserved because of amenities listed, 1 being fitness facilities. The person at the check in said there was none and was never as far as he knew. Everything about this place needs a complete overhaul! It is a non smoking hotel, but you would never know it! The staff workers were very nice. We actually tried to get another place right away, but did stay for Friday night. The pool is not cared for enough. We would have stayed longer but moved on because of all of the above. We would like a refund for the false advertising that led us to choose this place.

Our stay was ok, place looked a bit run down on the outside and many sketchy looking people stayed here during our stay (drinking and smoking in groups outside even after midnight). Bathroom was dirty, poop stains on wall/bags, shower had clumps of blonde hair by drain (we all have dark hair) and shower curtain reeked of urine. We did not trust going in the pool therefore didn’t. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean, also room itself seemed clean, there was old food and drinks from other guests left in fridge though. It was only one night so we stayed but wouldn’t stay again.

From the time I checked in (which was later in the day), got to know the best places to eat and visit. And also an extra checkout hour allowed me to go to Boston and return and then refresh before heading back to Canada.

Pretty centrally located property and reasonably close to Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, Wells Beach, and all the other most important nearby towns. It is however, really not very well marked, along the road and is actually rather difficult to locate especially at night, and they should REALLY invest in better signage if they want their guests to find them easier. This property as a whole is definitely rather outdated in most ways, in fact still even uses metal keys, but it was basically reasonably clean overall, and was basically adequate for the single night we were staying there, but I would definitely want much more for any longer stays as it really didn't offer much more than a place to hang your head for the night. These rooms really do need guest use safes provided which they lack for no good reason. Additionally this hotel has a very high step up into the room which was very difficult and somewhat unsafe for mobility challenged individuals, like myself. Additionally, the quality of provided soap and shampoo was also rather lacking as compared to other hotels we regularly encountered throughout this area. Some guests were having a campfire the night we were staying there which looked interesting so that is available to those interested, and it had basketball courts that were being used as well earlier in the day.
