This villa is owned by a very nice family, who were so accommodative, and helped us and we're very flexible. They also prepared good breakfast and provided nice conversation. "Very friendly staff and helpful manager. Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing. Room (deluxe) very large and provided extra bed for kids. Short 10 min walk to galle fort. Room very clean and great housekeeping. Pool towels provided. Some minor maintenance issues could do with addressing around pool (tile grouting). "

"we got off the train form Colombo & showed our booking paper to our Tuk-tuk driver. He rang to get instructions as to how to find them, only to be told it was CLOSED!!!! Woopsie, but luckily he knew somewhere."

"The property never got our reservation, so showed up and no one was there. This, however, didn't appear to be Amara's fault. Ana was very apologetic and tried to make the most of it. Property is nice though, but it's more suited for a full rent out than just a couple looking for a get away."

"A wonderful 3 night stay in the family suite with two double beds. Service from all the hotel staff was wonderful from the moment we arrived, and they went above and beyond from giving us a takeaway breakfast on our last day when we left early, as well as helping with our hired tuktuk! Hotel is further out of Galle Fort (about a 10min tuktuk drive/25 min walk), but setting of buildings onsite is lovely, centred around the main pool and communal outside area. There is a mosque nearby so you can hear the call to prayer, but didn't disturb us."

We stayed in the Deluxe Ocean Front room, which was stunning. The room was spacious, the bathroom was modern and spotless, and the private balcony was the icing on the cake. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. They accommodated our early travel schedule by packing us a breakfast to-go on the first day and served breakfast on our balcony the next. Whether it's the front desk or the 24/7 security guard, you're always greeted with a warm smile. The shared oceanfront terrace offers a spectacular view of the sunset — a perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended."
