"Lovely homestay with such attention to detail in property. Good Sri Lankan breakfast. Quiet area except for some railway noise but not a problem for us. Half hour walk to fort( plenty of tuk-tuks if you want) Helpful & friendly host."

"The pool and beach setting were incredible, the room was spacious and had nice amenitys, the beds were comfy and balconys had a stunning view. We upgraded to half board when we arrived, breakfast had lots of options, dinner was always really high quality food, however the amount offered did seem to depend on how many people were in the hotel at the time. Manchmsl dauerte es etwas sehr lange, bis man das bestellte Essen und die Getränke erhielt. An der Reception sprachen sie eher schlecht englisch. Als wir für einen Ausflug fragten, streckten sie einem nur ein Heft hin. Um eine Adresse zu erfahren, war es sehr mühsam. Jeden Abend tolle Life-Musik bis ca 22...

"We had a great 4 night stay at Ahu Bay. It was nice that Nilanga messaged ahead to discuss arrival time. Having a room right on the beach was a real treat and the private pool was kept spotless by the team. The team couldn’t do more for us during our stay, making adjustments to cocktails to suit ours tastes. We ate at hotel twice and both times really enjoyed the dishes we tried, it’s clear there’s a talented chef in the kitchen! "

"All great. Only thing is, no easy access to ocean because of rocky bottom. 5 min the left and right is sandy beachbottom and to the right close are some beach pools."
