Top Waynesboro Hotel Reviews

Massanutten Resort
6/10 Okay
"Area is very family friendly. Lots and lots to do but a little pricey. Staff was friendly but didn’t tell us if we could use the indoor/outdoor pool with our stay or how much it was and I couldn’t find any info on site. The condo rooms are very spacious and the spa tub was nice. Just be aware you have to wash/dry your own towels and linens. And bag up and dispose of your own trash."

Hotel Madison & Shenandoah Conference Ctr
8/10 Good
"Hotel staff and amenities were outstanding. Access to good and services all around are great asset to hoteliers. However there were left over trash in our room not as obvious but small enough for us to have noticed. Otherwise great experience overall."

Hyatt Studios Harrisonburg
4/10 Poor
"Hotel is brand new, so some of this could just be kinks that need to be worked out. Like the fact that it took 5 minutes of running the shower to get warm water. The towel holders are already loose in the drywall and the bathroom door made contact with the floor and door jamb. My absolute biggest frustration was the hotel promising that breakfast was included and then only offered frozen muffins and frozen bagels. Even the cream cheese and butter were by request only. It was shameful. That isn't even a proper snack. It is like they are trying to meet the minimum requirement to list the property as breakfast included. Also, all the k cups in my room were decaf. Otherwise the property was great: clean, quiet, conveniently located, and reasonably priced - if they actually offered breakfast with the stay!"

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waynesboro East by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"Here’s a shortened version that stays under 1,500 characters while keeping the important details strong and clear: We booked this motel last minute because we needed somewhere close to the schools, and unfortunately it was a terrible experience. There were so many issues that I contacted corporate and made a social media post. Instead of properly addressing the concerns, the front desk called my dad, who booked the room, to complain that I contacted corporate instead of speaking to them directly. These were not quick fixes or minor issues. The carpet was moist and sticky, there was no smoke detector in the room, and the smell of weed from the neighboring room was overwhelming. There were holes in the walls, missing tile and lights, dirt on the shower walls, exposed wires from a broken charging block, and a large gap under the door where roaches came into the room. As a mom traveling with kids, safety matters. The door handle was also loose and almost falling off when we arrived. Maintenance fixed it immediately, but it should not have been left that way. I’ve worked in hotels before, and these are ongoing maintenance and safety issues, not cosmetic problems. Not having a smoke detector in a hotel room is dangerous and against Virginia code. I also have photos documenting everything mentioned. We will not be staying here again."

Hyatt Place Harrisonburg
10/10 Excellent
"I stay here twice a year back and forth from Georgia to Massachusetts for the summer months. This is the half way point. We have stayed in other properties over the last 15 years and found this spot 3 years ago. Its the best spot in harrisonburg for the price & amenities. There is a hidden gem on the roof top for tapas and cocktails ."

Sleep Inn Staunton
10/10 Excellent
"We will stay here again! Our room was spotless. The beds were comfy. Super quiet. Breakfast was yummy. Every staff member was hospitable and friendly. Definitely worth the cost. The best part was that the air conditioner's motor sound wasn't loud and grinding like most hotel units. It sounded like a rain shower! Also, this is the first hotel room I have ever stayed in where I did not adjust the temperature at all! It actually maintained the room temp our entire 2 night stay. One last thing...we were supposed to stay one more night, but my son was sick and we needed to head home. Because I had booked the room on Hotels.com, they were unable to issue me a refund for the third night. I contacted Hotels.com, and they called the staff at Sleep Inn, who promptly approved Hotels.com giving me a refund for that night! Thanks so much, Sleep Inn, Staunton!"

English Inn of Charlottesville
8/10 Good
"Good. Breakfast and staff Bad. Pool, crack in plastic part of ceiling allowing rain to drip in and not heated area "

Graduate by Hilton Charlottesville
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely stay at the Graduate Hotel in Charlottesville. I’ve stayed at a few of these throughout the country and they are always welcoming and impeccably designed. I love that they capture the flavor of the city."

Days Inn by Wyndham Waynesboro
4/10 Poor
"This place was filthy. Dead bugs on the floor, used zip ties and blood. Stains on the ceiling and walls. The door did not seal, leaving a gap between the door and the ground."
