"Efficient but not particularly warm welcome. Breakfast is not included so I can’t comment on that. £12 charge to use pool and gym was pretty steep so I can’t comment on that either. Bed was comfortable. Room was pretty soulless and the tea & coffee making facilities were perfunctory- no biscuits or complimentary water. Barman was very good. Probably a good venue for a conference or work event but I wouldn’t rush back"
"Great hotel , central location especially with the car park being so close . The restaurant was pricey for the portions but the service was excellent. Also I think for the spa use the times need to be changed to earlier Acess as we were unable to use them as check-in times 3pm ,abs checkout time was 11am but access to spa was 10am . "
"I last stayed here over ten years ago, when I stayed while attending a week-long residential course at Aston University. I was impressed then and was still impressed now. Friendly staff, comfy beds and one of the nicest hotel breakfasts going, all while being a short walk away from Birmingham city centre. Next time I am back in Birmingham, I know where I'll be staying again 🙂"
"Really good city centre location. Room was well appointed with Tea, Coffee, water and apple juice. Had read other reviews about the Air con which was so noisy, we turned it off which was fine as it wasn’t a blazing hot day but would be an annoyance if we kept it on. Slight stain marks on carpet and duvets but nothing terrible and the road noise during the night hence the 4*. Breakfast choice was excellent and the lady who was front of house was amazing, couldn’t do enough for us. The kids brekkie was free which was a nice touch, as well as apples / water station in the reception. All great for us for a one night stay. "
