"We really enjoyed our stay at The George. It was authentic, absolutely clean as a whistle and the staff were incredibly helpful and nice. It is an authentic old inn so there were some creaky floors but it fine for us. The staff and the food were amazing. I would stay here again."

"Lovely room, lots of useful amenities including Nespresso machine as well as kettle, bathrobes, etc. Comfortable bed. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely continental breakfast. Just a few comments, only a low stool, no chair in room, no wardrobe, just 3 hooks and 4 clothes hangers, bathroom had nowhere to put washbasin, and towels on rail high on wall above loo, so difficult to get to. We understand the hotel has only just been refurbished so staff said they would pass these comments...

"Lovely quiet spot, great for having a drink in the garden after a day out. Pet friendly which was great. The dog was able to stay in the room and go in the bar too which was nice. Unfortunately the room was not very clean. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. The skirting boards hadn't been touched. The bathroom was clean but not a deep clean level as there was dust and grime around the toilet. The towels were plentiful and clean. The bedding was clean but the divan itself had a stain as...

"Devonshire House was clean and well maintained. The bedroom was roomy and clean as was the ensuite. Plenty of tea and coffee and extra left in the communal lounge if required. Could have done with extra towels, only a bath sheet per person and one hand towel, could have done with one smaller towel per person for after washing your hair..minor criticism and we did manage by sharing the hand towel.. Chris was very friendly and helpful. We took his advice and went on the FREE walking tour around...

"We tried many times to call OYO client services as there was no reception or staff at the hotel to get the door code to get in. I’ve lost more than 1h on the phone. Worst service ever!"
