"We had the most wonderful stay at Ambleside Townhouse. We stayed for 5 nights in the family room as it was the last room they had when booking. We were glad as it was a beautiful spacious room with two beds. We only used one which was a superking and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and even though we didn’t really need much they were always there to answer anything with a friendly reply. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Onion rings hard and dripping in fat. Mussels overcooked and way too salty. Breakfast next morning was lukewarm. "

The “Welcome Pack” was a great and welcome surprise which is a definite plus compared to other rentals in this area. Master bedroom had a superb en suite plus a great view of Loughrigg Brow.
