"Trouble checking in, elevator broken, pool closed… little to no breakfast."

"The rooms are clean although a little dated. The bed was very comfortable. We arrived around dark and were extremely exhausted from many hours of driving. We were up early the next morning and on the road again. We stayed here 2 different times in a 10 day period, on the way to Florida and on the way back. It wasn't the first time we've stayed here and probably won't be the last. The area just west of there on I24 is beautiful and we would love to actually STAY in the area sometime instead of just passing through. If you are actually staying for a while, book a cabin, they are well worth it (did that in the past). Would also be really nice if they got their restaurant fully opened back up like it was before the fire some years ago; I was lucky enough to enjoy a great breakfast there in 2019."

"This was a very convenient stop off the highway with a buffet style restaurant a few steps away. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower pressure and temperature were great!. It was a convenient and affordable way to split up my long travel days."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn in Scottsboro. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful, truly going above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Our room was spotless, the breakfast was delicious (including some of the best biscuits I've had in a very long time), and the location is set away from the main road and thus quite peaceful. We would come back here in a heartbeat."
