"We have stayed at this hotel multiple times when visiting the University of Iowa. It’s a budget hotel so there’s nothing fancy about it, and they say they’re a short walk to campus, which isn’t accurate, you do need to drive. This last stay we had a non smoking room that had been smoked in and instead of moving us to another room, they simply came and sprayed a freshener in the room. Not very helpful. "Didn't eat there "

"So the bed was clean, every thing else was used up and stained. Makeup smudges on the hairdryer, which made me wonder about other surfaces. Room smelled like someone had cooked something fragrant in there, could only open the window 6” to try and air it out. Fine for a quick stay, it was quiet and well priced, perfectly mediocre."

"We've stayed here before and love it. Not only do they offer a very nice breakfast but their evening "Kickback" is really nice for those occasions when you don't want to go out for dinner. The hotel is clean, the staff is very attentive and we look forward to our next visit."

Advised front desk who spoke to them and noise/shouting started again a few minutes later. Advised front desk again but nothing changed. Complained again with same level of disruption at 5am. 7-8 people in next room, loud music, banging in walls, shouting, partying in the hallway. "The hotel was nice, very large room and surprisingly very quiet despite being downtown. All the employees were nice. Breakfast was very good, delicious pancakes and avocado toast. My only complaint was the shower. Worst shower ever. Little to no water pressure coupled with the extreme soft water was a horrible combination trying to wash our hair and feel like it was rinsed clean. Just a horrible shower. "Been there several times over the last few months and the ice machines haven't been working the entire time."

"I forgot to tell them our room had no water pressure. It was literally a tiny sprinkler coming out. I almost took the shower head off myself and tried to clean it out but I didn’t have time. It was clean, but looks like it’s being renovated. It could definitely be a little better.
