"This is a very small (even for Tokyo standards) unit, and you have no elevators in the building. That said, you can walk to Shinjuku and the place was very clean, with its own washer/drier and great beds. Sure, it's small, but the location makes it a great choice. I'd definitely recommend the place and would have given it a 5 star rating if it had a smart Japanese toilet ;) !"

"Clean small apartment - walkable to a bustling part of the city. Shinjuku is an exciting area and just outside of the east station exit is a bit like vegas-meets-NY. I knew the area was active but I did not realize this apartment was smack in the middle of the night life (host bars, love hotels, etc) part of town. "Excellent value. It's a real apartment, not a hotel room — full kitchen, washing machine with laundry detergent already provided, strong AC, and a quiet bedroom for good sleep. Four beds, so great for a group, but I stayed solo and still felt the price was very fair. Check-in is self-service: they send a door code in advance and a short form asking for your name and a photo of your passport — quick and no hassle. Close to the train station and a convenience store is about 4 minutes on foot....
