Hotels near Waikiki Shell

"Convenient location. Beach chairs, cooler and towels offered to take to the beach. Lemon water in lobby with frozen dessert treat in the evening. The staff were not friendliest to us. Unsure if it was because we are interracial family but vibe was off. Bathroom was uncomfortably small. No counter space at all and no shelving to place anything on. Overall, I would not stay again. I would stay somewhere more lively with activities and pool. It was clean and someplace to sleep and shower. "

"It started out with not having any room service for the first five days of our vacation. Then there was a $40 a day amenity fee to which they’re really are no amenities at this hotel as the pool is very small, the hot tub maybe accommodates three people and the gym is extremely small and as basic as it could be so to be, there’s nothing here that would ever justify charging an amenity fee. These are things that every hotel has and should provide with their daily room rate. The management team did address my concerns after a second discussion as we were still having issues with housekeeping and issued a half refund for the amenity fees. Parking charges were extremely high at over $45 for a night and there are no meal options, such as a continental breakfast however there are multiple restaurants nearby."

"We were on a high floor w partial view of the beach, Diamond Head, and the sunrise. Room was big! Daily housekeeping. Very comfortable bed. Parking is expensive."

"Good stay and good distance to the beach, mall and walking distance to other shops. The downside was we have to pay for the full amount of resort fee even was the pool in the whole duration of stay was not functional. "
