"After our longest walk on the 4 day Queen Charlotte Track, this resort was a delight to end with. The room was comfortable and the shower hot. They had a lovely bar area for a pre-dinner drink and dinner was delicious. We found the water conservation and rainwater use fascinating and applaud their efforts. We were a little concerned about the long downhill on the road to get to the lodge from the track knowing we had to go up the next day. Imagine the wonderful surprise when the front desk...

"This Blenheim accommodation is new and served our needs perfectly. It was easy to find and convenient located if travelling by car The bed was huge and very comfortable. Our host was gracious and available. We felt at home and enjoyed quiet privacy. Only regret was that we had to continue on our journey."

"Good kitchen staff but the room’s toilet was smelly. I vomited twice every time i went to the toilet, on the first night itself. The pungent smell was really strong. I called reception at 3 am wanted to change room but no one picked up. The next morning, i had to buy electric scented oil warmer to reduce the pungent smell. "

"The staff were so lovely accomodating and wonderful, unfortunately I arrived with a sore back so couldn’t do the walk and they were very caring with heat pack and healing balm upgraded our room, will be coming back. The place is paradise as well had a lovely spa with a view and beautiful meal at the restaurant. Highly recommend one of the best places I’ve been in the world and I have travelled a lot! "
