We have stayed here before. Clean room. Free self serve breakfast, cooking facilities. Very close to ferry terminals, waterfront, shops and cafes. Would recommend
Fresh choice is about a 6min walk and activities are also in walking proximity. Family friendly staff was really accommodating. I have booked for my return in a few weeks. Owner is hospitable and a big heart
Thank you Nicci Fitzgerald for allowing me to use your gas stove at your other backpackers place much appreciated 😍
Late checkin was smooth. I loved the size of spa tub and it felt great - but there were no instructions , I couldn't get it to turn on. So, I enjoyed a relaxing soak.
Location was convenient to restaurants, shops and the sea.
Place was so convenient for the ferry, it looks new compared to the other backpackers hostel across the road which is grubby
Nicky was so helpful
Inside the walls are new , carpet new and cleaned and the kitchen great, marvellous sitting lounge TV room too
room absolut nice, staff (if there) very nice and helpful, Kitchen all what we need, but not enough paper to clean a bit or dry hands after washing, same thing in the toilets, this every day.

Room clean. Never saw staff. Close to ferry, foreshore and shops.
The room was so fresh looking and very roomy, I love how easy check in and out is and appreciate the good facilities and shared living space. Love the views from the verandah. My second visit to The Boathpuse Lodge and another very pleasant comfortable experience.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Amenities
We had turn up at lodge to find keys waiting our arrival with note for owner, room was found to be very clean as was amenities when walk around. However we DID not stay due to the bathroom and shower configuration. I did not remember seeing stated toilets are shower are unisex (mixed) both in the same area this made me feel uncomfortable especially as I am prone to using toilets in the middle of the night no issues sharing with ladies but with strange men yes. I am sorry if this sounds raciest in anyway but my concern was more of putting myself in a venerable situation.
