location In Wabamum is a Close walk to the beach and town amenities, which were few, no grocery store? Location is also very close to a train track and there are many long, noisy trains that go by at night and during the morning, not great if you are a light sleeper, I was fine, I can sleep through a lot. The one staff member was pleasant and helpful. I needed to change out my bath mat, she had another one for me. The continental breakfast is basically pastries, some dry cereals, yogurt cups, juice & coffee. The breakfast room is a nice place to play games and pass the time of you needed a bigger place with your family. There is a pull couch (but I didn't use it). The unit had a small fridge with a freezer and a microwave. They had Roku tv that required the Internet, which it could connect wirelessly but kept losing the connection. I didn't use the tv after a couple of attempts.

We booked last minute for 2 nights. At first we thought everything was fine. Then early in the morning (6am) we heard what sounded like someone breaking into glass, which was unsettling. It was very obvious that there were drug addicts staying at the hotel and it was a little unnerving. However the beds were very comfy, didn’t love that pet fees are per night, it should just be one fee. I wouldn’t stay here again due to safety.

Beautiful lake, gas station is close by, parking is big and plentiful, the train that comes by can get irritating but I slept well in nice clean sheets, in a clean room, with complementary shampoo and soap with hot water! The breakfast is light, but buttered toast, cereal, juice and milk is greatly appreciated! Staff is very kind, understanding, and accommodating even for my late arrival! Overall a great experience for the cost. Would go here again for a good pit stop!
