"What a splendid hotel!!! Gorgeous historic property with all the latest amenities. Every room is beautifully decorated, as is the lobby. Our room had a lovely private area on the patio. Staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Location is terrific - within walking distance to a variety of dining experiences. Wish we had stayed more than one night. Highly recommended!!!!!!!"

"The breakfast was very nice, the staff was excellent. We stayed four days. My husband and I have stayed many times before. However this visit the elevator was out the entire time. My husband and I both have physical disabilities, so getting to the third floor for breakfast was a real problem. I wish I would have checked or have been notified before our stay that the elevator was not working. In addition the ice machine was also out of order.☹️"

"Upon check-in, there were problems with the front desk. The usual desk clerk was not available, so another family member stepped in to assist (we were told). He was not familiar with the computer system, so that took long. Though I got into the lobby first, he helped another lady who came in afterwards (and I found out later that she was there a half hour earlier and the man was not able to assist her yet). "The woman who checked us in was very nice. It’s went quite smoothly/efficiently. Parking was plentiful. The pool was not so clean — rather unappealing. My room was very clean, recently remodeled. It’s a simple, basic room for a great price. I would recommend. Two minor inconveniences … There is no electric plug near the sink to use with my hair dryer & curling iron. Also, there is no soap dish or shelf in the shower to put shampoo, razor."

"Hotel was very clean and tidy, rooms very comfortable and AC was fantastic!! Staff on front desk very helpful. However, no tea / coffee making facilities in the room. Told at reception that bar offer both. Ordered Latte and tea. Got coffee and a mug of hot water! Server came back with choice of tea but no breakfast tea. She said she'd go and see if they had any more. Never came back!!! Got up and walked out, went to Templeton for dinner. Service at bar very slow due lack of staff or quality...

"This Motel really exceeded our expectations. It is a super cute property and the room was adorably decorated. I loved hanging out in the hammock first thing in the morning when it was still cool outside, and by the fire pit in the evening when the temperatures dropped as well. The pool area was amazing - no shortage of very comfortable seating with access to the bar and restaurant - so nice that it is restricted to 21 and older! "This was our first time staying at Hampton Inn, and we had a great experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations.
