Our room was cleaned everyday . Staff helpful. Beds comfortable. Room could do with a little tic bed frame and chair peeling also mould and floor coming away in bathroom.

Had a really good stay with couple of my friends. Staff are friendly and hotel is very decent for what you pay for. A few improvements is perhaps offering an iron in rooms as well as supplying plastic cups and water bottles.

We stayed 3 nights. Place is clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Nice pool area and hotel bar. Hotel has spa area and sauna which didn't try because you have to wear swim hat.

Nice hotel as it was very quiet restaurant was a little limited on choice at dinner , very good breakfast ( nice soft eggs). The room needs atention in bathroom black silicon and floor in bedroom is comming up. Great health club.

Very quiet room and really comfortable. I just wanted a comfortable room to relax and recharge. I didn't use the pool or general amenities. Staff very friendly. I'd definitely stay again if in Monte Gordo

Good location

Overall we were fairly comfortable Good location to use the beach. All the facilities were functioning, but the whole hotel unit needs an update. (We would like to have had a different coffee as the one used from the machines, was not Very good.)

I had read some bad reviews about this property but I thought it was excellent! Nice, quiet, comfortable room and bed, great helpful staff and a lovely breakfast each day. Walkable to the beach and amenities in 5-10mins. Easy free parking (I stayed in April/May but from 1st June to 1st September I was told that is when the parking is chargeable). If you want entertainment and a party destination, go to Albufeira. If you want a relaxed and chilled place, Monte Gordo is great and so is this hotel. :)

The staff was friendly not only at the reception but also in the kitchen. I stayed there at the end off the low season so it was the time for reparations before the high season start.. So that caused noice in the day. At night it was quiet and you can sleep. The check in and check out was easy on a decent and professional way

For a good price, worth it.

Nice indoor pool, but cold. Good balcony but no furniture, just two cement benches on either side. Noise from front street can be loud, I am on second floor, traffic noise started around 7am. Wifi is VERY slow, even basic tasks like email buffer for awhile. Nice large lobby and very good breakfast buffet. Mattresses are quite hard, no shampoo in shower, just liquid soap. Close to shopping and beach, walkable. Rainfall shower with additional handheld unit, good amount of hot water.

Wouldn't stay a second time

Very loud traffic noise if staying on front if hotel and foot traffic in above room. All floors are vinyl so you hear every footstep and dropping of things above you, especially when they wear shoes at 7am. Tv is basically a computer monitor, tiny , and wifi kept cutting out, even with basic email. Pool area and breakfast are very nice. No chairs or table on balcony. No shampoo, just liquid soap in shower. There was very loud drilling or grinding one day in room across from mine. After one hour went to front desk and asked to move rooms if they are doing work. She said nothing was taking place in room. I said door to room is open, very loud noise and workers coming in and out. She said no, I was wrong. She made a call and realized oh yeah, there was loud maintenance work going on. She still wouldn't switch me rooms and said it was only going to last a few more hours. Don't tell me I'm imagining things and it isn't hard to switch rooms. Very poor customer service.
