"Great hotel and very friendly staff. The outside pool is cold. Reception staff went above and beyond. We arrived at 1 in the morning and still got checked in after calling the out of hours number. Check in only took 5 mins. Walking distance to the beach although there are no pavements so you need to walk on the road. "

"A great all inclusive hotel with plenty of activities. This resort is especially great for golfers as you have 2 great courses at your doorstep. There is only the buffet option for food, however the food was great and they even had a street food dinner on Wednesday which was a very pleasant surprise."

"The perdon who checked me in was not particularly helpful, however the person who chrcked me out was rude! I asked for a taxi to the bus station, she hesitated, then called one taxi who said he was busy, she did not adk for how long. She hung up and then tried to convince me the bus did not go where I wanted to go. I knew better, butshe thought I was wrong and eventually just walked away from me. The other person working the front desk just looked the other wsy. I had to walk with heavy...

"Excellent location and amenities. Nice staff who were very helpful when i arrived letting me know about the area, thank you Claudia! Authentic portugese feel to the room and hotel. Room 100 looks over the river which i would ask for again. Also the restaurant downstairs was very good."

"We expected to visit Faro when we booked this Pousada and never left the property over a three night stay. Hospitality was very gracious, attention paid to specific food allergies, external massage therapist who was booked by the property was excellent, the staff was very friendly and engaging."

Absolutely Fabulous

"I wanted a week away alone and chose this hotel as it was not large and impersonal. The hotel is in a superb position right in the town itself. The public transport is excellent with the train station just five minutes away as is the bus station. The staff in this hotel are so helpfull and friendly and will do anything to make you stay memorable. Breakfast buffet is good with a large choice of items. There is also a pool on site not massive but so convenient if you want to stay in. Olhao is now a must for me I will be coming back again. When out and about it's very safe and all the Portuguese people I met were so kind and helpful. The hotel and place get a gold star from me. Dont forget to go on the ferry to visit the islands nearby as there is no beach in the town. "

Excellent access to Tavira

"This was a return visit. I enjoy the spa facilities particularly and easy access to tge centre of Tavira. Access to the local beach by ferry is very important to me as i enjoy the long walks and solitude."
