"Was a pretty good spot to stay for a week. The restaurant was a bit pricey along with the items at their little shop. Other then that was a neat place"

"I checked into the room and it appeared to be clean. Clean sheets and towels, the floors appeared clean. I immediately saw a roach. Ok, one roach. But then another, and another and another and on and on. I was in the room for less than ten minutes. I went back to the front desk and quietly explained that I was checking out because of the infestation. The desk attendant apologized and offered another room. I politely declined. There was no offer for refund. I left. There is no excuse for this. They could spray and disinfect the building like everyone has to in Florida. It’s a state full of cockroaches and you need to manage it. This tells me they cut corners on the most basic necessities. Poor uneducated management. ."

"We travel to this area once a month and have stayed at various hotels in Ft. Myers. Howard Johnson's has become our place to stay. Amanda at the front desk friendly and gets us checked in quickly. The room is clean and we're able to park in front of our door."

"I never stayed at a hotel that didnt give any kind of service to the customer. No towels unless you return the dirty ones back to the front desk. Also only one person was working. The front desk closes at night and noone was around til 9:00 am. So if u need something you had to call the man at his home to come give you what you need. If you want to change your sheets you had to take them off the bed and bring them down to them. Insane. No room service..no repairman to fix anything that is broken. We changed our room 3times.The first room had water pouring out the bottom of the air-conditioner. Second room the toilet wouldnt flush. The bathtub fixture came off. It goes on and on. Terrible experience. "

"It would have been nice to use the pool however there were people smoking dope and drinking in the pool area along with playing their boomboxes super loud. There was one guy who had a house arrest bracelet on who was sitting in the shallow end of the pool smoking dog with one leg in and house arrest leg out."
