Second stay at Locanda Lo Scudo and each has been fantastic. Great small hotel with wonderful restaurant. Matteo looked after us extremely well. Soave a lovely place for a couple of days stop over.

Lovely location at the foot of the Soave Castle

Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Restaurant downstairs is outstanding! Great location. Quiet room with air conditioning. Coffee machine in common room did not work, though. Would be nice to have something other than plastic cups in the room. Overall pleasant experience. Location is a perfect contrast to busy Verona. Lovely!

Great food and accomodation.

Great short stay in this hotel that also had a fantastic restaurant. Service was exceptional from th time we arrived and Matteo looked after us extremely well during our stay. Would recommend a stay in Soave to anyone but particularly Locanda del Scudo.

Charming Inn in lovely location

One of the nicest places I stayed on this trip - 2 nights. Spotless room with lots of charm (wood beam ceilings, hand-painted furniture). Located just outside across from the walled city of Soave -- charming town to walk the quiet streets with great restaurants, coffee and wine bars. I stayed here rather than in Verona -- just a very easy 15-20 minute drive to Verona. Wonderful hosts who made great suggestions.
