The room was well kitted out and clean. Room cleaning, servicing was available daily. Staff all helpful and polite etc. Breakfasts were of good quality, with a wide choice of foods.

This hotel is quaint and a little older than other properties in the area, but the staff and service are impeccable. It's really well-situated, and the breakfast buffet is pretty great. For the value ,you're getting a good, restful stay.

Only problem with this was I found three bugs in the room in different parts. One next to my bed, one in the curtains and the last one in the second room (after being moved from the first one because of the first bugs) in the shower. So, two rooms.. bugs in both. That's not bad luck. I was only there for a few nights so decided to wing it cause I didn't have money to move last minute to a better hotel. The room, hotel and staff were all great after that initial shock. Living in an area like Veracruz where bugs are aplenty. I'd expect them to check and treat the rooms more often. Again, bugs in two rooms in separate (high) floors, is no coincidence. I don't know if i'll ever stay here again. Unfortunately, bugs are the one thing I'm most concerned about when traveling.

I was happy to receive an upgrade from a partial ovean view to a full ocean view. Aside from that the room didn't have a mini fridge, the front desk wasn't quite as accommodating/friendly as I would have expected...we also found the bed and pillows weren't very comfortable and the shower needed better water containment as we had issues with water leaking out.
