"This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Florence. Everything is within a 5-10 min walk. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious, clean, and they had nice touches like cold water in our mini fridge every day when we returned from being out. Would love to stay here again in the future."

Great place in Florence

"This hotel was a great place to stay in Florence. We had a family of four with two older teens aged 16 and 17. They gave us a room with 4 twin beds which was helpful so we didn’t have to share beds with the kids. The hotel was convenient to seeing the sites. It is on the city train route so you hear the train arrive but I wouldn’t say that takes away from the place at all. The bathroom was one of the best we had in Italy. It had a good shower, a jet tub, two separate sink areas, and the kids loved the cool blue LED lights in the bathroom. This facility is attached to a gym that you can get 24 hour access to for a fee. Kids under 18 have to have an adult with them to use the gym. The pool is very small just for sitting in. It was nice to cool off in and there is bar service at the pool during the middle of the day. The morning breakfast is available for a fee and offers lots of great choices. If you are tired the same eating area offers a restaurant which was good. The restaurant has a nice shaded deck. There is a single coin operated washer and dryer on one floor if needed. "

"Our stay at Ruby Bea was phenomenal. Staff were super friendly, approachable and helpful. We loved everything about the hotel and its location. A short walk from the hustle and bustle of the city highlights, so environment was quiet. Entire visit was great and would definitely stay at the Ruby Bea Hotel again! "

"We were here for only one night due to a train transfer to Rome airport but this was an excellent choice. There is an underground tunnel immediately outside the front door that leads to the train station. Breakfast opened at 7am which was perfect considering most other hotels we stayed at started later. This allowed us to grab a quick bite prior to departure. The area outside can be quite congested due to the train station but it is less than a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and 20-25 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. At breakfast ( located at the 5th level), the spread was abundant and we were blown away by the views including the Duomo. There is an outstanding rooftop as well. The room was large by European standards with a very high ceiling and wood coffered. They had complimentary cold drinks and juices in the fridge. All in all, we had stayed here 20 years ago and were very impressed with the updates and the makeover. The staff were all very accommodating and pleasant. Would easily stay here again. "
