"Got upgraded to the 2 bedroom apartment with garden view, very quiet and great to relax, breakfast and dinner were superb. We both had a massage at the spa that was very relaxing and enjoyable. A hire car would be recommended to take advantage of the surrounding area."

"The room and bathroom were excellent and the brkfst was perfect. The air/heat was working well. Everyone was very helpful and ready to offer more. The last morning we were there they laid out an early breakfast even though I think we were the only ones there and were leaving before breakfast would normally have begun. My husband and I would definitely recommend Villa Rio Guest House to friends. "

The staff are very helpful and courteous. Hotel has plenty of amenities. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, the coffee station at reception, the made to order eggs and fresh orange juice being squeezed at breakfast! "Nice clean simple accommodations. We would stay there again. The village of Silves is a nice, quiet smaller town (at least in May). Restaurants and sites are in walking distance. There’s also free public parking one block away."

"Worst nights sleep ever!! The beds were the biggest issue and the main reason I would not recommend Wyndham Residences Algarve Carvoeiro. We expected a new 4-star hotel experience, but the bed was unbelievably hard. Genuinely the hardest and most uncomfortable hotel bed we have ever slept on. There was no topper or anything to soften it, and my back still hurts. Our friends had a separate room and had the same experience. None of us slept well. The room also got extremely hot. The AC shuts off...

"Great location and friendly staff. The breakfast and buffet dinner was a nice amenity and saved a lot of money on dining out. We really enjoyed talking to Nelson who made us feel very welcome and taken care of. My only suggestion to management would be to not charge extra for the first floor “sea view” rooms since it will be disappointing to anyone who gets stuck there. The hotel staff was kind enough to move us up to the 4th floor which has a much better view of the ocean."
