If you are looking for a relaxing peaceful getaway, this is the place. Very calm, quiet, and serine. The amenities were lovely and the staff was very friendly. I will be recommending this spot to all of my friends and family. Really beautiful area of Puerto Rico.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner, and an even better breakfast - yum! The room was so nice and peaceful. We loved the hammock and stream nearby. There's a dog that seems to be a hired host, he helps you park your car, walks you to reception, and shows you to your room. He greeted us in the morning as well. It rained the night we arrived, we decided to take advantage of the open air yoga studio to practice a little flow - the breeze, rain, and chorus from the cocquis, birds, and lush plants made for a magical experience. I'll definitely return.

This retreat is an absolute paradise and oasis that makes the stresses of day to day life melt away! It felt both meditative and romantic. It is easily my favorite hotel I have ever stayed. I wish we had stayed longer. Every part of it was clean and in great condition. The staff were warm and welcoming. You can tell that every detail has been designed with much thought and care. The setting is gorgeous. You are surrounded by mountains, fresh air, waterfalls, and the sounds of birds and frogs. The pool is picturesque and peaceful with the backdrop of mountains in the background. The room was the perfect balance of simple yet luxurious. The shower and porch were amazing. The food also went above and beyond our expectations. The dinner was fresh with good-sized portions and beautiful presentation. It was our favorite meal of our whole trip. We especially loved the mofongo and the steak special. The breakfast was also divine! It included fresh/homemade yogurt, granola, fruit, croissants, jam, nut butter, and juice. I would recommend the waterfall hike and ceiba trail hike. Definitely follow the hotel’s driving instructions. We did not and the drive up was not for the faint of heart - it was basically all unpaved roads, hairpin turns, and potholes. We used the hotel’s instructions on the way back down the mountain and it was a breeze! I hope to return and take advantage of the yoga and spa services next time!

I love this resort. Beautiful location, good food, comfortable rooms, very peaceful. The only things that prevented me giving 5 stars is that in the 4 days we stayed the pool was closed one day, and the yoga class canceled another.

It is a gem inside the Island. Follow the driving directions given by the staff ahead of time for an easy and beautiful drive. Staff attention to the guest is outstanding way beyond the expectations. There is a hiking trail in the property, moderate for non hikers. As a wildlife biologist I enjoyed bird watching during the day and a night walk with UV lights. There would be plenty of Fluorescent items to enjoy, lichens, chlorophyll covered rocks, a few rocks with sphalerite (orange fluorescence) and an incredible blue fluorescent millipede migration from the ground to the tree canopy. If you enjoy wildlife, make sure to pack a uv flashlight (365 nm). There are several mindfulness related activities available upon request for additional fees. Food is excellent, with affordable wines and PR based beers. Each room have a small balcony with an hammock, from where I am writing this review, and it is so relaxing, that I am going to get a nap.

Truly a magical place to come and get away from it all and sleep in nature. Somewhat of a tough drive but so worth it. Food options are mostly limited to the hotel restaurant so recommend bringing extra snacks. I'm definitely coming back.
