"My fifth time at the Grantham Arms in 4 years and it's always excellent. Lovely staff, fun, clean rooms and really comfortable beds. What's not to love about a place that maintains such consistently good standards? Breakfast was also beautifully cooked as well."

"The staff were courteous on arrival and gave us a tour of the beautiful building before showing us to our room. The house and surrounding environment were superb. The room was comfortable and clean albeit a little too warm at night. Our breakfast was tasty and varied served by a very polite young lady. "Very comfy big bed, shower and taps took ages to get hot, but eventually did. Lots of tea and coffee options in room together with a fridge with wine and snacks if required. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. Bit strange going in and out at back of the building, but happy to recommend as somewhere central to stay."

"The room was clean, well designed and very comfortable. A soap dish would have been useful for the soap that was on offer to use. The heated towel rail is a necessity but not particularly well placed above the toilet (although I could not see another suitable place for it). The hotel was under renovation at the time. The builders were polite and considerate and any noise (not much during our stay) ceased at 5pm, as promised. We had a wonderful time and stayed an extra night on the strength of...
