However, where you’re really staying is on the backside of the restaurant across the street. The halls look like a dungeon with no natural light or ventilation. The room on the website looks bright and airy. It is not. There was one window where we could see everyone climbing the outside stairs to their rooms but...

"Old hotel, limited options for food and no AC. I wanted experience a Swiss village vibes. Areas views are increasable, but this is it. I booked one night and only shared bathroom was available, so I got the Swiss experience and best views. Very basic breakfast and had to sleep with open window, so as a result with flying bugs in the room."

"Great position on the Lake with easy access into Luzern, CHF4 each way. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with standalone Aircon which proved useful during our visit. Be aware most room do not have an unrestricted view of the lake due to a property in front of the hotel. Breakfast is taken across the road at the old hotel, but is good.
