"This is a lovely small hotel with nicely decorated rooms. It was very quiet; we rarely saw other guests or staff, which made it feel nicely private. Breakfast, while simple, was perfectly adequate and actually available all day. The only thing I didn't like is that the bed is really high; I'm very short and could have used a small step stool to climb in with ! But it was very comfortable and we slept well. "10/10 would stay here again. Spectacular location and service! The rooms had gorgeous views. The property is well-maintained and quiet. The common room was a joy to sit in, with delicious free cookies in the afternoons and smores for toasting in the outdoor fire pits in the evenings. The breakfast bar was also great. Free parking. You can’t beat the location — only an 8 minute drive to Minnewaska State Park and across the street from a great German restaurant. Lastly, this was dog friendly! "

"Vey pleasant surprise. Such a beautiful room with plenty of space. The beds were fantastic and the bedlinen was crisp and comfortable. The sweet girl at the front desk upon arrival was kind enough to help out with recommendations for places to eat dinner. Unfortunately the breakfast was really not very good. "Everything was awesome!!! The grounds are incredible and so many places to walk around. Every single person of the staff was incredible. They were so nice, helpful, etc. and the restaurant on property is amazing. There wasn’t one item that wasn’t delicious. I would say the only issue is when it rains/snows. As it get muddy everyone. "It is a lovely facility. The staff is kind and helpful. We had some confusion on checking in, I had apparently booked a room without a private bath or closet. As we were there to attend a wedding, I wanted my own bathroom and a place to hang our "dressup" clothes. They were able to change our room and accomodate us."
