"I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again."

"Fully stocked kitchen, they thought of all the little things. Host was friendly and showed us where everything was. There are only a few cabins/lodges on the property so it's quiet and peaceful. The pool is small but perfect for cooling off and getting some sun. We even made use of the full-size BBQ by the pool one night.
Lots to do in the area (hiking, waterfalls, Calico Jacks, cave tubing) and San Ignacio is only 40 mins away.
Note: you definitely need an SUV to get there (4x4 in wet...

"The staff at Cassia Hill Resort are amazing. Two especially, Abby at the front desk and Carlos the security man were wonderful. Isabella in the restaurant is exceptional!
The location is perfect for anyone wanting to do excursions from San Ignacio.
The cabins are spacious and clean.
The maintenance guys brought us fresh coconuts to drink and eat.
Excellent place to stay. My daughter and I stayed 9 days and have great lifetime memories."

"The property is very quiet and the staff is super helpful and nice. We felt the food was a bit overpriced for the portion sizes and the flavors were just okay. The drinks were amazing. The tour to the cave on property was fantastic! We did the horse back riding as well."
