"We had a wonderful stay at Kato Dool Wellness Resort! The staff were very kind and accommodating — they even allowed us to check out late because our flight was delayed, which we truly appreciated. The view from the top of the mountain is absolutely amazing, especially at sunrise overlooking the Nile river. Since the resort is located uphill, we had to take a tuktuk to go up and down to the village. The ride can be a bit bumpy and dusty, which some people might not enjoy, but it didn’t bother...

"Stayed here the night before starting a Nile Cruise. It's an unusual experience-the transfer from the airport eventually puts you in a tuk-tuk to get you there! And we had to take a boat to transfer to our cruise. It feels rustic, but in a good way. Staff very attentive, but not much english speaking. Rooms were simple but comfortable."

"The hotel owner, Ahmed, is a very nice and helpful person. We ended up in Villa Misk after our reservation for a nile cruise from Aswan To Luxor was canceled the night before. So I made a last-minute reservation at Villa Misk and called them right after. Ahmed was very warm and helpful over the phone.
