"What a pleasant place this was. We had food in the Dolly bar and it was excellent. The staff are very helpful. The room was clean and had everything you could want If I was being picky it would of been lovely to of seen outside lights from the bar so you could see the river in the dark"

"Excellent location, staff is lovely. Hotel is very clean in all areas but could do better with room cleaning. We had to remind to clean ours couple of times even after putting the sign on the door. When we came back, it seemed like being done in a rush. Bed was made but pillows were not neatly kept. It was overall good but would have expected better from a 4 star property. "Room was clean and refurbished but let down by the bathroom The toilet was badly located and toiletries insufficient ( particularly as there was nowhere to shower in spa) due to no changing rooms being available Parts of the hotel have been refurbished and are lovely although often just superficial but the other parts are very tired and and unloved.
