The property was not the problem. The problem was Tybee Vacation Rentals! I arrived to checkin at Tybee Vacation Rentals around 4:30 pm. I arrived at the unit and was unable to get in due to the lock on the door. I put in the code I was given, unable to open the door. I scanned the QR code and watched the video and followed the instructions completely; still can’t get in. My first call to the office was after normal working hours so I spoke with Felicia. She gave me step by step instructions as well. Still no access! She informed me she had to send out a technician which would take 30-45 minutes. I waited another hour before reaching back out to Felicia which is when I spoke with Henry. He said he had to reach out to a technician and they said it would be 30-45 minutes again before they could get there. The property manager saw me waiting in the hall and offered to help. She reached out to the emergency line and explained to them I had been waiting in the hallway for 2 hours and no technician has shown up. She gave them her number and asked them to call her when the technician arrived as she allowed me to wait in her unit down the hall. We waited another 30 minutes and NO call and NO technician. She call a total of 3 times! The final time, they gave me a new code and told me to turn the dead bolt towards the hinges and push the door open. Since your calls are recorded, you can listen to EVERY conversation! I got in the unit at 9:28 pm! UNACCEPTABLE!!!
