"The Grove Inn was great for a quick trip into San Francisco. Close enough to the area. Be mindful it is San Francisco and the streets are definitely full of hilss. If you can walk, everything is close enough. If you can't, Ubers are always available. The hotel itself was clean and secure with the charm of the Victorian Homes that are known for the area. Will definitely return to stay again. Thank you Azizza!"

"It’s essentially a motel and you get exactly what you pay for. It’s well situated in the city. I stayed on one of those weeks where there was a convention and my usual hotels are ridiculously expensive, Symphony was exactly what the doctor ordered. On a weekend with overpriced hotel rooms I would stay here again. Clean. Safe. Affordable all the time."

"Bedbugs. Completely stained bed cover. Hair in the sheets. Next to a loud bar. Dirty in general. I found a bed bug and got a refund and stayed somewhere else. Yes, it’s cheap but I wouldn’t sleep here for free."

"I loved my stay, the staff was super helpful (cleaning staff.) It was a decently sized room with a bay window and such a cute aesthetic. I was able to reach out to customer service easily, and had very few issues. The proximity to Dolores park and being able to uber everywhere was also a plus. Only downside is the drug abuse happening on the street but that’s pretty much every downtown."

"Other than the block it’s on is the sketchiest one in San Francisco. if you need a no-frills, just a room to sleep and a place to stash your bags. This is the best joint 100 yards to the Bart station to/from the airport is perfect."

"This is a budget hotel. The room was basic but clean. Nice shower. Great location. Very steep stairs. I would stay again if on a budget as good value for money."

"The room was very clean and looked like it was recently renovated. There were also no odors, which is important to us as we are allergic to pets and dislike the smell of smoke. I personally liked that the room didn’t have carpeting as it made for a cleaner floor. The motel is on a semi busy street so there is some street noise but the motel was thoughtful enough to provide ear plugs for those who needed it. There are also limited parking spots that’s offered on a first come first served basis....

"The absolute best bed & breakfast in San Francisco! Cleanest rooms, friendliest and most attentive staff, great location, most delicious breakfasts and snacks/baked goodies throughout the day. Our son graduated from USF this past Saturday and we’ve consistently stayed here. On our next trip to S.F., just to visit and explore more we’ll stay there again!"

"I had a lovely stay at Hotel Kabuki. Staff were friendly and helpful and check-in was a breeze. The room was super comfortable, decorated nicely, and had a great city view. The only minor observation is that the desk was very worn, with the stain scratched off the places where you have the most wear. The location is excellent; I appreciated being in a central location with easy travel to other parts of the city. There's tons of shopping and dining nearby or an easy walk away."

"The room was clean and the staff were attentive. The location of the hotel was perfect. So why did I take a star off? Well, first of all the beds were not very comfortable. The beds were too soft and kinda sloped off the sides so you felt like you were going to roll off. The bathroom layout was ridiculous; there was a ton of empty unused space in the bathroom when more counter space would have been helpful.
