"Charming old fashion Adirondack rustic style / decor individual small cabins (also has motel-styled rooms) - parking either in front of rooms or between cabins, a couple of minutes outside Chestertown, NY, 30 minutes from Schroon Lake, and 45 minutes from Ticonderoga (StarTrek Museum & Fort). Very nice, friendly, and accomidating owners / operators. Breakfast / coffee place "Two Sparrows" 5 minutes down the road. Driveway very well lite / marked at night, although wish those lights had either dimmed or turned off post midnight for a better / darker sleep . . . As it was a very wet / rainy, and cold night - heat worked very qickly / well and found extra pillows and blanket. Plenty of hot water in sink / shower, soap, shampoo, small college refrigerator and microwave provided, however no hairdryer for partner . . . Did not test WiFi as we only stayed for 8 hours total time. Would have wished to have had more time to explore grounds and Chestertown itself."

"Huge thank you; the staff was so helpful with information and guidance on where to eat and how to navigate the town. Just a few items worth mentioning: it's a basic room, no fancy fixtures. The lamp between the two queen-size beds didn't work, which wasn't a problem because of the overhead light. Some items need updating. But overall, our goal was just a place to sleep, and it was comfortable; the sheets were soft, and we had a good night's sleep- nice and quiet! Would recommend and would definitely stay there again."

"Lake was beautiful as usual. The staff was exceptional - always helpful and friendly. Overall atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and felt very safe and relaxing. Breakfast was good - very good fresh fruit salad and yogurt bar and assorted breakfast drinks and make your own waffles (though if they could include chocolate chips as a topping and cinnamon it would make it even better). The prepared cafeteria-style hash browns were very good, eggs not so good. Had an older Inn room which was as advertised. The one we had was clean with 2 twin beds and did not have AC, TV, or microwave (I missed not having the AC as the room was pretty warm despite the ceiling fan and window fan)."

"Self checkin was very easy. Our door would not shut a couple of times but we figure it out .Nice decor Quaint town We had an issue with our AC but they fixed it right away. Bedding was very nice but bed felt like our heads were tipped down The floor was a little sandy. Very quiet area. Every communication was done by text. . We communicated with Daphne and she was wonderful!"
