"The staff are lovely, and the property and gardens are beautiful (although they’re not quite as new or updated as the photos make it seem). It’s more of a charming quiet calm hotel in the countryside. My only issue was that the carpet had tons of large stains on it, which was rather gross and I’d expect a hotel to have a vacuum cleaner that can take stains out of the carpet. "Fieldways hotel has been our choice over the past 10 years but on this occasion we were very disappointed with the lack of staff available at any time, seemed a like a “Look after yourself” scenario’ Our main concern was that we paid £24 more than ever before and there was no cooked breakfast!!
