"Property is a short drive to restaurants and the town of Trinidad, which was the nicest of all the towns we visited. Our trip was primarily to hike the redwoods and surrounding area, so it was conveniently located to everything we did. Everything was clean, cozy and the staff were friendly. This was our first time here and all of the research I had done led us to book the right place the first time."

"Unfortunately, the room was NOT clean at all. The floors were damp, and the tile was sticky. The doorframes and appliances were grimy, and the carpet was stained. Fortunately, the bedding was clean. The room also smelled like they tried to overcompensate for the smell with cleaner. Would not recommend."

"Very comfortable bed but room located should be a service area instead. Extremely noisy next to stairs, exterior door. Able to hear people upstairs walking and rolling something around. Flashing light outside the window all night is not blocked by the drapes. Would have liked high protein sugar free yogurt at breakfast. Keys are locked out hours before check out. No physical desk clerk but extra blanket was provided. Services good. Mildew odor in bathtub."
