"Ben, was extremely understanding that due to the jet fuel situation in the UK, we had to cut our trip short and he was not able to move us to a different day. Outside of expedia's commission he offered to refund a portion of the stay since we couldn't be there that night. Just waiting on Expedia to update it in my account"

"Lovely little hotel with great staff and rooms. We were lucky enough to stay in the Lostwithiel room beautifully comfortable bed with a bathroom that was huge. The breakfast was amazing with the hospitality second to none. All in all we had a great stay and will return when next visiting Bodmin."

"We had booked two rooms at this hotel. The one we stayed in had a really overpowering sewage smell coming from the bathroom, which would be ‘covered up’ with a lot of air fresheners after house cleaning. I complained about it to staff and nothing was changed, with staff not mentioning it again. The other room was fine, and, besides the smell, both rooms were clean and very comfortable. "We stayed 2 nights in sn upper floor twin room. The in room TV was tiny, but everything else about the stay was good. Internet was fast, breakfasts were very good, and we also enjoyed dining there in the evenings, with views of the last gokfers of the day on the 9th and 18th holes just outside the windows. Parking was easy, and the staff were great."

"Could do with a hoover under bunk beds. Didn’t have all of the advertised vegetables with roast dinner and wasn’t offered any alternatives or discount. Service in restaurant and bar slow at times. Beautiful view of PolZeath beach . Sofas could do with a clean as water stains on them and a few more cushions on sofa would be a nice extra.Overall very pleased with our stay and would return again."

"Very good value for money, nice bar area, great location next to the beach, unfortunately heating broke down but that was beyond their control, they should have offered a free drink or similar. "We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room...
