"Unfortunately the hotel, despite it's great amenities, have triple charged my credit card after we checked out. I was never able to contact anyone from the hotel to get this straighten out. My messages went completely unanswered and my credit card was maxed out because of these extra charges. Horrible experience with the fraudulent charges and zero customer service or follow up."

"It was absolutely disgusting, the floors were so sticky my shoe came off, it stunk, the elevator didn't work and we got stuck, the security guard had to circle the property because it felt sketchy. The lights in the lobby are falling apart. It was by far one of the worst places I have ever stayed. We left 2 nights early and frantically searched for something that wasn't so gross"

"When I saw that this place had over 7 stars and was being offered for such a cheap rate I was surprised. I guess you get what you pay for, but this was no 7+ star hotel! The property was in extreme disrepair. The office where we checked in smelled so strongly of nicotine I couldn’t breathe. Fortunately the rooms didn’t smell, but there were a whole lot of other problems with them. The carpets were worn, torn and coming up at the seams. The furniture was literally falling apart, from the drawer...

"The hot tub was out of service and the pool was not heated. A bit reason for selecting this hotel was for the use of the pool & spa, so this was disappointing. The AC in the bedroom did not work very well and the common areas in the hotel felt like there was no AC as it was very hot and stuffy."

"Overall a really good experience. Staff was very nice. Rooms are smaller but clean and modern. It had fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Outside looks a little out dated but inside is good. Location is perfect to get around. Overall good price. They had coffee made in the lobby so I went down every morning. I would stay there again."

"Breakfast was hot and cooked fresh in the morning. Happy hours in the evening was a great way to relax within the Hotel.
Parking was the only challenge at the Hotel with Valet costing $75 per day. There is public parking around but you need to move the car and be aware of street signs"

"I recently stayed here for a mini vacation and was satisfied with the location of the hotel. Being able to walk to Shelter Island and restaurants from the hotel was an important reason for booking here. I'll be sure to return again in the future, but will request a second floor room. The only slight with my stay was being on the first floor, hearing children constantly running or playing in the room upstairs. If you can get a room by the pool, do so because the parking lot is busy at all times...
